Schedule
The purpose of labs is to put into practice the material you learned on your own time. This includes the required reading, and the lessons posted in this course.
Each lab session will include each of the learning objectives, so you always know what to expect when you attend your monthly labs. Labs allow time to practice teach one another, therefore this course requires a prerequisite of the RYT 200 to ensure you have the foundation to teach an effective yoga class to this special population.
We offer in person labs, interactive webinars online, or the option of submitting recordings for your lab experience. Please review the posted lesson in our Slack community, prior to attending the lesson, if possible. Please bring your text books, manual, yoga mat, and vegetarian snack to lab. Connect with Michelle to book your labs that work for your schedule. She is your Lead Trainer and Mentor for this course. Webinars are offered on Fridays 7-8pm weekly, and a recording will be posted by Sunday.
The 2025 schedule meets in Naperville on Saturdays 2-6pm weekly, Webinars are available weekly on Fridays 7-8pm CST. Webinar recordings will be made available to the students who are unable to attend. Students must submit recordings for lessons they are unable to attend to petition for graduation. Lab sessions run January to November to allow for one makeup lab, should you prefer to complete all of your training in person.
To petition for graduation, the student must:
- Complete all online lessons
- Complete the workbook
- Complete all required reading
- Attend all Labs (in-person, online, or via submitted recordings)
- Demonstrate mastery of the material
- Petition to graduate with Michelle
*Completion of hours does not denote completion of the course.
